The 60-degree V shape helps to achieve depth to the coffee layer, so that the water flows to the center, extending the amount of time it is in contact with the ground coffee.
The clear heat-resistant, highly durable copolymer plastic material allows you to watch the coffee being brewed, providing a visual experience. It has a very low heat absorbance, which highly improves the coffee brew extraction. For optimal results, use the corresponding filter size (Paper Filter 01/ 02/ 03)
Choose the perfect size and material for your brewing preferences.
Our recommended brew recipe:
- Rinse the paper filter thoroughly with hot water, warming the brew vessel, then discard the rinse water from the vessel and brewer.
- Add 14g of ground coffee to the brewer and place it on a scale. Ensure the coffee bed is even by shaking it gently from side to side.
- Start the timer and pour 40g of water for the bloom. Stir in a cross-motion, 5 times back and forth and left to right to make sure all the coffee grounds are saturated.
- When the timer is at 30 seconds, start the second pour of 110g of water in a circular motion.
- At 1:10 on the timer, pour an additional 100g of water. 250g of water in total.
- Your total brew contact time should be 3:00–3:15 minutes. If your brew is too long, use a coarser grind setting and if it’s too short, use a finer grind setting.
