Finca Majahual, located in Los Naranjos Valley on Cerro El Águila, offers a unique terroir that sets it apart in El Salvador. The farm benefits from a microclimate shaped by cool, moist ocean air and fertile volcanic soil, creating ideal conditions for high-quality coffee.
Unlike typical Red Bourbon, Finca Majahual produces a rare and selectively picked Orange Bourbon. This varietal, a natural mutation of Red Bourbon, is known for its vibrant tangerine-like acidity and is processed exclusively from Orange Bourbon plants in this lot.

Situated at 1,500 to 1,800 meters above sea level, the valley’s altitude provides cooler temperatures and ample rainfall, crucial for the slow maturation of coffee cherries. This unique environment enhances the Orange Bourbon’s complex flavor, making it the highest quality coffee we source from this farm.
Managed by Patrick Murray, the fourth-generation producer, Finca Majahual exemplifies a commitment to innovation and fair social practices. The farm is renowned for its exceptional coffees, driven by new processing techniques and social initiatives supported by premiums paid for its lots.
