Nestled in the Boa Vista Valley near Caconde, Sítio Joaninha is the product of Valdir José Ferreira’s dedication to sustainability and exceptional coffee. Inspired by the ladybug, the farm reflects a mission to restore ecological balance. Through regenerative practices like planting native trees, purifying water, and using biodigesters, Valdir and his family have created a haven for biodiversity, bringing back ladybugs, bees, and butterflies.
This year’s harvest produced a coffee of remarkable delicacy, standing out as our clear choice for a filter release. Its vibrant notes of apple pie, mandarin orange, red apple, toffee, and cream are paired with a smooth, refined body. Meticulous cultivation and processing highlight the harmony of flavor and elegance in every cup.
In collaboration with Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (FAF), Sítio Joaninha sets a benchmark for sustainability and biodiversity with one of the region’s highest tree-planting rates. This coffee is a testament to Valdir’s commitment to regenerative agriculture, showcasing the perfect balance between quality and environmental stewardship.
