Product Description
In the Fraijanes region of Guatemala, close to the city of Santa Rosa, the Buena Vista farm is located. The humid climate of the Fraijanes plateau with its sunny afternoon makes for the perfect combination for coffee plants to thrive and subsequently be fully sun-dried.
Fredy Orantes, the owner of the farm, is a true leader among the coffee growers of Santa Rosa, and has worked tirelessly to maintain high standards in the field and during the harvest. He is an expert with both larger lots and small microlots, and every aspect of coffee picking and processing is done with care in order to ensure the highest quality.
Always thinking about sustainability, he also cares actively for a variety of trees, such as Grevillea and Cuje, as well as other fruit trees. Furthermore, their soil management includes the application of compost made of fallen leaves and trees as well as the coffee pulp to ensure soil health.
